5 THINGS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY

We get it, “money makes the world go round” and we sure as hell know the value of having plenty of money in this modern day world. I for one, am not going to deny the fact that I found love in money 😉, I always tell myself “Money is a principle thing and in all thy getting, get plenty of it” emphasis on “a” not “the”. Money does not translate happiness or satisfaction, now I’m not here to convince nor confuse you whether or not money isn’t the most important thing in life, but facts and flames, there are things more important in life than money. Let’s get into it;

Family and Friends;

There’s always this unique, rare, authentic and true love that one feels with family and true friends. Family is everything, the love we get from family is life’s greatest blessing that lasts forever. Family is our anchor through tough waters, they are a dependable support system (Ula, 2017).

Talking of true friends, friends that are family like. Life is better with friends, friendship is one of, if not the greatest healing therapy. One shouldn’t sacrifice Family and Friendship for money. We often forget the importance of family and friends, until they are gone (well I don’t)

                 Good Health;

What is money without a sound health? You don’t want to miss out on the good things in life because you’re unfit health wise, because your medical state restricts you from enjoying what you dream of😉😉😉😉😉. If you are picking money over your good physical health, you need to rethink your priorities. I doubt there’s any sane person who would.

                                Passion;

Having passions and setting goals to pursue your passions will not only enable you maintain utmost energy and happiness but also a sound mental health and physical, psychological and financial stability. A life without passion is not living, but merely existing

                

           Experiences;

Experiences are more important than possession. Kissing the one you love, being there at the time of the event, watching the eclipse, watching your child take the first step, falling in “true” love, doing the things you love, and so many more experiences that having stacks of dollars can’t guarantee you to experience. The memories of those experience can bring you unthinkable amount of joy.

Happiness;

This should be the top in the list. In all your endeavors, seek happiness. Be happy with what you do, do what makes you happy. This should be your priority. Happiness!!

Money makes life comfortable, and it’s certainly a must-get. It soothes things in life and lubricates the flow of living. But keep in mind that money shouldn’t be the utmost reason for our existence. Note, these things are more important than material things, your happiness, family and friends, health, passion and experience cannot be replaced with money and material things.
